本帖最后由 frankmx 于 2019-5-21 20:58 编辑 带老妈皮皮岛度假,Patong的英迪格过度一晚,太热了到房间就把鞋脱了赤脚行走,结果踩到了地毯上的钉子,脚没受伤但还是感觉在五星级酒店这样的卫生状况不应该,遂打电话告知前台,对话大意如下:
本人: I stepped on a nail on the floor in the room. Would u please send somebody to clean the room again?
前台小姐姐:Nail? We don‘t have nails in our hotel. Is that really a nail?
本人:what do u mean by that? I am holding it in my hand right now. Are u saying I took this nail to your hotel? (当时已经有点生气了,搞得我像是在说谎一样,就让小姐姐亲自上来看)
小姐姐进门,我把钉子放到她眼前,等着她道歉,结果小姐姐看了一眼,温柔的说:Sir, this is not a nail, this is a screw.
这个,气场马上弱下来,突然想起好像螺丝钉和钉子的确是两个不一样的单词
虽然小姐姐offer给换一个房间,但觉得太丢脸了,就拒绝了,只是让阿姨又拿吸尘器吸了一遍。
学好英语真的好重要啊。。。
另外,房间内饰比较夜店风,老妈表示接受不了。拍了几张大家随便看看。
