Marriott Rewards offers members a new type of promotion called Taste of Gold Elite. There are many versions of this promotion, but all offer members a temporary Gold Elite level upgrade that will expire after a set time. Members participating in this type of promotion are asked to accrue a specific number of personal paid nights or personal paid stays at participating locations within the set time period in order to have the expiration date of the Gold Elite level extended further into the future.
When I reviewed your Marriott Rewards account, I found that you have recently participated in a Taste of Gold Elite promotion and were unable to accrue sufficient activity to receive an extension of the Gold Elite level. Marriott Rewards is unable to provide another Taste of Elite offer because this type of promotion may only be provided once. We apologize for any inconvenience.
