之前我发过一个帖子,是关于SPB这个Program的,链接如下:

我想版上应该有很多筒子近期都有收到过这个邀请,我也听到有很多人把这个消息反馈给我,这引起了我的注意,后来我去www.starwoodpreferredbusiness.com这个网站专门阅读了相关的内容,发现这很有可能是一个陷阱,因为大家加入这个链接之后,每一次入住都会给对方账户积分,而且有可能会给自己的账户和个人信息带来安全隐患。日前,我已经就此事联系Starwood亚太区总部,证实了这个邀请的非法性,现在新加坡方面已经把处理结果发回给了我,相关邮件纪录如下:

I am please to advise that my colleague from Starwood Preferred Business head office has removed all the members that have been linked to this company account and contacted our legal department to check the next course of action.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for sharing your concerns.  We are please to inform that your personal Starwood Preferred Guest details and account information are not shared with the Starwood Preferred Business company contact.  The link provided is legitimate, unfortunately, it was used in an unauthorized manner.  Rest assured your personal information has not been compromised.

So that I can post it on our forum in case that there were lots of member being trapped in this trouble. As far as I knew, many of them have registered the program, and it seems that the man found our information through our BBS (Because the email indicated that in the first paragraph).

I have reported this issue to our SPB head office. I am please to advise that we will conduct a thorough investigation and take necessary actions for this case.

As we communicated just now, you can find the email I received two months ago as below. I thought it was an official activity as it was sent from a pretty official email address. Then I registered the program following the link attached within the email. After that, I also received a confirmation email from starwood.preferred.business@starwoodhotels.com with the name as - Re: SPB Member Upgrade/Link - WPP (KMMXXXXXXXXXXXKM)‏. Every time, I found the corporate code - 393911 would appear in the Prom/Corp Code blank when I am trying to make any reservations.   
  
Since I am the one member of the management team of the Forum - www.flyertea.com, recently lots of members told me that they also received the same invitation email, which made me start to concern about this. Therefore, I sincerely open the website of SPB and read the relevant T&C. I found it is a special program for companies and from which both members and the company will collect Starpoints if there are any stays taking place. However, I deeply concern it is an illegal behavior from someone and will affect our account safety and personal information privacy. That's the reason why i am writing this letter to you and inform you to investigate this. Please understand it is a mandatory duty that I need to take care of the members of our BBS, and still I should give them a clear answer about this.
  
Regarding our forum, you may get some hints from your Singapore colleague - Thyetus Lee (Starwood APAC Network Forum Coordinator) , who is invited to our forum and now taking the responsibility as a master of the SPG Board of our forum. Actually, we are always having a sufficient communication channel and good relationship with Starwood hotels.

加入之后,你的账户就变成了主账户的一个子账户,对方是有可能了解到你的帐户动态和信息的

SPB就等于是用Corporate code的升级版。。但是Starwood对参与的公司有每年的要求的。我就是通过我们公司的SPB的。那个发的人不知道是真的好心,还是另有目的? 奇怪。。。

那个Code没有任何便宜的价格,而且会给他的主账户积分以及会对个人账户造成安全隐患的事情他也没有提前告知,另外,就算你要邀请别人,至少你要征得别人同意啊
这很难让我把这种行为和做好人好事联系起来....
