Together with our Training Manager and the Director of Rooms we have gone through the procedure again to reinforce that our staff members remind guests about the difficulty in catching taxis in Hangzhou.
In addition, and that is why I am answering you so late, I had a long meeting with the local taxi company to see what they can do to have cars permanently stationed in our hotel for our guests. In general they agreed but as the government has limited the taxi licences in the city they cannot guarantee this. We have lodged an official request together with the taxi company for additional 2000 taxi licenses to once and for all solve this dilemma.
