In response to your e-mail received thru Starwood Corporate Customer Service, please be advised that as I have looked into your file, I found our out that during your first day, you stayed in room # 422. Upon check out, you have informed one of our front office associate that you’ll be checking in again the next day and that you wanted to stay on the upper floor.
Kindly note that though your request has been noted, based on the type of room (Standard) you have booked, we can only assign you rooms from the 1st floor to 4th floor (as all our standard rooms are on this floor).
Moreover, it was also highlighted on your record that you have requested to be placed on a room away from the building construction, which is why the room assigned to you was room # 317 (located on the front side of the hotel). Also note, that this is the first time we have received a noise complain for quite awhile now since the building beside the hotel has finished it’s construction 5 months ago.
Concerning the hot water in your room, I am sorry to hear about what had happen to your fingers but please be aware that the hotels’ water temperature is being maintained between 25°C to 55°C. The hotel is maintaining 55°C as the hottest as a prevention to Legionella disease. However, upon the guest check-in, the faucet knob is set on middle (which will produce the water temperature of 30°C) though the guest has the option to vary the faucet knob/ water temperature by switching the faucet knob from side-to-side.
