Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel is a very nice 5* hotel!!!
I had a room on the 29th floor overlooking the main street for nightclubs, but apart from a dull thump, thump we were not disturbed at all. The location is right by the monorail but within a short walking distance from the key attractions. Take a taxi to China Town though.
The room was very clean and well equipped, lots of fresh bottled water every day. The staff were very friendly and informative and the food was wonderful, particularly the chicken rendang. Try their buffet, from my perspective great value for money.
Nightly entertainment in the Pavillions Lounge was enjoyable, cocktails and drinks at regular motel prices however the service was impeccable. Iced Chocolates were "to die for".
Villa Danieli - Fantastic food, excellent service - Quality all round.
The pool area and gym - Children advised that they forgot they were in a major city as they swam and exercised the nights away, enjoying snacks and drinks from the pool bar.
Internet access was excellent, with fast connection and large touch screen computers available for everyone to keep in touch with home.
The only downsides were that on our 2nd day our room was not cleaned at all before I gave the housekeeping a call at 7 PM. Also on checkout there was a rate mistake in the bill that took 25 minutes to correct, had we not reserved plenty of time for airport transfer we would have been in trouble.
