Dear Mr xxx,
Thank you for taking the time to contact the InterContinental Ambassador Service Center.
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the Royal Ambassador status is being automatically extended to the top one percent tier of our most frequent Ambassador guests, based on the number of InterContinental properties they have visited and qualifying nights they have completed with us during the past year. Furthermore, at this time there is no exact number of qualifying nights or InterContinental stays that a member must complete in order to achieve the Royal Ambassador status.
Mr. Tian, should your account activity do not meet the Royal Ambassador qualifications after November 2010, you will be offered a one (1) year complimentary Platinum Ambassador status in order that you continue to enjoy the Ambassador benefits and be given a chance to hopefully qualify towards the top one percent among all InterContinental Ambassador members.
On the other hand, we would like to clarify that the initial qualification for the Royal Ambassador status is based on a 12-month stay activities of an Ambassador member. Our records show that your status was upgraded on 04 December 2009, which means that your stays from November 2008 to October 2009 were counted.
Furthermore, the review for re-qualification for the status is usually done two months prior to the status expiry date. As your Royal Ambassador status is valid until 30 November 2010, your stays from October 2009 to September 2010 will be reviewed.
We hope we have assisted in clarifying your inquiry. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact our office directly.
